What Is a Bedtime Routine?
Bedtime routine is a set of activities you perform every night in the 30-60 minutes before going to sleep. Bedtime routines vary from to person, but often include calming activities, such as taking a warm bath, drinking tea, reading a book, meditating or journaling.

Bedtime Routine for Women
1. Take a warm bath
A bath before sleep can really de-stress and alleviate anxiety. Level up your bath time with this natural stress-relieving bath oil that will give you a pleasant aromatherapy experience and leave you feeling refreshed and renewed.
2. Leave the electronics alone
Electronic devices (smartphones, computers, tablets, televisions) all emit blue light
Avoid watching TV, or scrolling on social media before bed. Instead read a book – a novel will help you relax and calm your mind. Also, don’t forget to turn on Night Shift on your phone well before your bedtime routine begins – it will shift the colors of your display to the warmer end of the color spectrum. This will help you get a better night’s sleep.
However, if you use alarm in your mobile phone to wake you in the morning, know that mobile phone radiation can cause insomnia, cut your amount of deep sleep and disrupt production of the hormone melatonin.
However, this Sunrise Alarm Clock is a total game changer. It has 7 natural alarm sounds to wake you up, such as birdsong, ocean waves, wind bells, soft music, piano music, etc. And the best part is that it offers sunrise and sunset simulation light, making your sleeping routine so much more enjoyable and healthy.
3. Write down in a journal
Just before going to bed, it’s the best time to meditate, reflect and work on your self-love. This guided journal is a wonderful instrument for that. Working with this journal will help enhance your self-perception, boost your self-confidence in order to achieve your dreams, and increase your ability to prioritize yourself by setting stronger boundaries in your life. This 30-day guided journal consists of various topics, and each day you have to read a certain passage and do little exercises by journaling your thoughts.
4. Prepare your bedroom
Dedicate some time to transforming your bedroom into a sleep oasis. Make a ritual out of making your bedroom as quiet and cozy as possible. Remove clutter, open windows for at least 10 minutes to bring as much fresh air into your bedroom as possible. Enjoy your favorite essential oils scent with an aromatherapy diffuser. Turn off all electronics. Once you are in bed, you can practice deep breathing exercises for further relaxation – inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a few seconds, and exhale. This exercise will help you disengage from distracting thoughts, calm your mind and fall asleep faster.
