1. Rose water as a toner
Rose water is an amazing toner for skin – it is 100% natural and has amazing moisturizing and soothing properties. It is very important to use a toner before serum and moisturizer because it helps the skin to absorb these products better.
Rose water is also amazing to use for the area around the eyes. The skin in this area is very delicate but still requires hydration. Sprayable organic rose water is an amazing method to hydrate this area. It also has anti-aging properties because it acts as an antioxidant that neutralizes free radical damage. And roses have a very relaxing and luxurious scent, it always makes my skincare routine more enjoyable.
2. Hyaluronic acid serum
I use The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronics serum for my face and the under eye area. It is very watery in its texture but has an intensely hydrating effect. When you apply moisturizer on top of a serum, it helps the serum to penetrate even better into the skin. And if you suffer from dry under eye area it can really can solve this problem.
3. Overnight skincare treatments
Night cream is an amazing product, it supports natural skin regenerative processes while you’re sleeping. It also helps keep the skin hydrated, soothes and calms the skin. This really helps to wake up to a beautiful and glowing complexion.
Before going to bed, it’s a perfect time to use a sheet face mask in order to deeply hydrate the skin. Hydrating face masks, when used regularly, really help making the skin appear glowing and supple. It’s also quite relaxing to lay down in your bed with the sheet mask on and listening to soft music, positive affirmations or even meditating for 10 minutes.
4. Lip treatment
Lip scrub helps remove dead skin cells and dry skin from your lips. Follow with a lip balm and it will give your lips a soft, smooth, and hydrated feel. You can also use an overnight lip mask that will inject moisture and nourishment into your lips overnight so you can wake up to smooth and plumped-up lips.
5. Exfoliate your hands
Vitamin C face exfoliator is a very effective way to have bautiful and young looking hands. I recently tried this hack and was really surprised how soft and smooth the skin of hands looks after. Vitamin C contains AHAs that boost upper skin layer exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and renew the skin. Simply apply it on wet hands and gently massage. You can apply some face serum and moisturizing cream and you will see how beautiful your hands look in the morning!
6. Tie your hair
Wear a protective hairstyle when sleeping to avoid hair breakage. This simple hack really helped me to grow my hair so much longer that it ever has been.
7. Hair serum
Apply some hair serum or hair oil on the hair ends to minimize hair breakage which happens due to friction against pillow. This will also help prevent tangling.
8. Silk pillowcase
Silk pillowcase will prevent hair breakage and moisture loss. If you do your hair treatments in the evenings, then even if you dry your hair before going to sleep, your pillowcase will absorb a big part of the moisture from your hair. However this won’t happen if you use a silk pillowcase because it doesn’t absorb moisture like cotton does
